MLK Day of Service & Education

On Friday, Jan. 17, we have a collaboration with Croton-Harmon Schools that will take place in several areas of the Library, so our public spaces may be slightly louder than usual until 3pm. We appreciate your patience.

Looking for a group where you can share and workshop the fiction, personal narratives, or memoir you've been writing?

The Writers Circle is a weekly writing group at the Croton Free Library.

Led by local writer and writing instructor Meredith Phillips, this program provides structure and community around a writing practice, and gives writers a chance to share their work and have it discussed and constructively critiqued.

Writers will submit works before each meeting, according to a schedule created before class begins. All skill levels welcome! This program is intended for adults.

Registration is required, so sign up here or call us at 914-271-6612, beginning Friday, Dec. 20!

Regular attendance is expected to encourage productive participation. This session meets every Friday, starting Jan. 10 and ending Feb. 14.
