The Taconic Opera's free New York Opera Conservatory Free Summer Program presents The Elixir of Love (L’elisir d’amore) by Gaetano Donizetti!

Elixir is a comedy about a country bumpkin who falls for an educated girl who doesn’t return his affections. A snake oil salesman comes into town, selling all kinds of potions for every problem. He sells the young man a “secret love potion.” Alas, nothing is easy and mishaps abound. Features the famous aria “Una furtiva lagrima.”
