Due to budget constraints, the Westchester Library System has restricted borrowing credits from Hoopla, and a daily cap prevents our patrons from using Hoopla once a certain limit is reached. Please check out digital materials on other available platforms.

We host the Croton-on-Hudson chapter of Shut Up & Write -- a global nonprofit initiative committed to creating free and welcoming spaces for writers of all kinds!

Our writing meetups are open to anyone. Each week, we'll meet, introduce ourselves, declare our writing goal or intention, and then set a timer for 45 minutes of writing. At the end, we'll share anything we wish and give each other feedback on how the writing experience went -- or just “shut up” and return the next week!

Shut Up & Write offers:
