Program Description

Event Details

Join avid hikers and authors Jane & Walt Daniels to discuss the beautiful places to walk in our county, from paved pathways to woodland trails and saltwater wetlands to rock outcroppings.

They are the authors of the hiking guide, Walkable Westchester. Check out beautiful photographs, listen to stories of natural beauty, and learn who donated land and how parks got their names.

No registration required! Free and open to all.

The Daniels will sign books after the talk, but the book will not be for sale at the event. To purchase Walkable Westchester, check out By the Dam Books or westchester.nynjtc.org.

This project is sponsored by the New York-New Jersey Trail Conference, a 100-year-old volunteer organization dedicated to creating, protecting and promoting the nation's finest network of foot trails in a major metropolitan area.
