Info Session for Battle of the Books 2023

Event Details

Anyone entering grades 4-12 in fall 2023 is invited to join Battle of the Books with the Croton Free Library!

BoB  is an excellent way for kids to meet like-minded friends and participate in a fun trivia competition against other libraries in the Westchester system — and read some great new books in the process.

Our teams will meet once a week beginning in July: 

  • Tuesdays from 7-8pm for the Older Division (grades 4-7), beginning July 11

  • Thursdays from 7-8pm for the Younger Division (grades 6-12), beginning July 13 

The final battle is Saturday, Oct. 21 at Ossining High School.

Teams are open to any Croton student entering grades 4-12 (or their homeschool equivalent) in the fall.
