Join us for an immersive sound experience! Local ensemble Skin Against Metal will debut its new sound project, XYZ.

This project creates an ambient listening environment by positioning speakers in strategic places so sound travels in specific directions, immersing the listener a multi-directional sound experience.

Maurice Minichino (pianist, composer, sound engineer), Nanette Garcia (percussionist, vocalist, composer), James O’Keeffe (bassist) have been experimenting with sound together for the last two years, creating an ambisonic experience that changes the way the ensemble performs music and the way the audience listens. 

Free and open to all! This program is appropriate for children.
