Did you know that practically every culture has a unique folk fiddle style?
Lisa Gutkin -- Grammy-award-winning member of the acclaimed Jewish roots band the Klezmatics and past member of I Guillari di Piazza and the “downtown” Celtic band Whirligig -- has traveled from Argentina to Japan to Sweden, picking up melodies along the way. As a New Yorker she has been surrounded by even more styles without even leaving home!
In this concert, she draws on this vast experience to take you for a magical, musical journey around the world with her fiddle.
