The program includes a suite inspired by Borges' book Fictions.

BIO
Argentine composer based in New York since 2000, Carlos combines folklore rhythms with jazz and classical concepts. Having studied with maestros Jorge Morel, Dave Smey at the Brooklyn Conservatory, and Pablo Ziegler (Astor Piazzolla's pianist), he has performed in France, Portugal, Ireland, Scandinavia, Japan, Greece, Belgium and recorded four albums featuring string quartet, chamber ensemble, and trio concertante. His works are published in the USA and Europe.
