Kirsten Bakis (2025)

Kirsten Bakis is our 2025 Croton Reads author! Her new book, King Nyx, is one part historical fiction, one part spooky mystery, and one part Gothic horror — all combining to create a total page-turner.

On Sunday, March 30 at 2pm, Kirsten will join Art Chung, head of audio production at Vox Media, for a conversation and Q&A to discuss the book. Afterward, channeling her role as a teacher as well as an author, she'll facilitate a brief writing exercise for audience members who wish to participate or watch.

It's free and open to all. No registration or tickets required. Learn more about the event here.
