Battle of the Books Info Session

Event Details

Anyone entering grades 4-12 in fall 2025 is invited to join Battle of the Books with the Croton Free Library!

BoB is an excellent way for kids to meet like-minded friends and participate in a fun trivia competition against other libraries in the Westchester system — and read some great new books in the process.

Our teams will meet once a week beginning the first full week of August.

  • Tuesdays from 7-8pm for the Older Division (entering grades 8-12), beginning Aug. 12
  • Thursdays from 7-8pm for the Younger Division (entering grades 4-7), beginning Aug. 14

The final battle is Saturday, Oct. 25 at at Anne M. Dorner Middle School in Ossining.

Teams are open to any Croton student entering grades 4-12 (or their homeschool equivalent) in the fall.
