Donations and Bequests

Throughout its history, generous donations from Croton residents and friends have allowed the library to greatly expand the range of services it offers to the community. Examples of this support include:

  • The many lectures, concerts, art exhibits, children’s programs and most recently a Red Cross Blood Drive presented at the library are held in the Ottinger Room, made possible by a substantial bequest from Egon and Lilyan Ottinger.
  • The renovation of the children’s room, as well as the wonderful children’s programming offered on a weekly basis, was made possible by a generous bequest from the Meissner family.

If you would like more information about making a donation or bequest to the Croton Free Library, please call Jesse Bourdon, Library Director, at 914-271-6612 or email him.
